Introduction 

We must always show ourselves impeccably in front of people in this almost ideal society by being well-groomed, well-dressed, and polite. In every area of life today, a person is first and foremost judged by how they show themselves externally. One's complex increases, their mood improves, and their confidence emerges when they concentrate on their personal care. A visit to the salon pampers a person, which in turn aids in their ability to unwind and guarantees that they have quality time in their otherwise busy schedule. A person's general disposition can be improved by making a salon appointment once a month.

But a general problem faced by the masses is lack of awareness of nearby professional salons, highly expensive treatments, minimal discounts/offers for frequent salon goers, tedious and cumbersome process of booking, rescheduling or cancelling appointments; on the contrary salons also have a tough time running loyalty programs for its customer. 

All of the aforementioned issues can be solved using LUZO. The user's salon and spa experience is revolutionised and now made digital. It is a mobile friendly application aiming to be at the core of the beauty and wellness ecosystem while benefiting all involved. . Their user-friendly application enables users to browse salons and spas in their area and select from a wide range of services. Users may now book from the comfort of their homes and pay at the salon, taking advantage of unique deals on their favourite services as they reschedule, cancel, and make appointments at the touch of a button.

LUZO is founded by Anurav Dave, Nikhil Kalwani and Maan Jetley. They have known each other for over 7 years and pursued their Bachelors from HR College of Commerce and Economics, Mumbai. In the midst of COVID-19, one of the founders’ family was facing a tough time due to the shutdown of his mother’s salon & spa, they realised that similar issues are faced by several others, to aid this problem the ideology of LUZO arose.

LUZO does not have any direct competitors in the beauty and wellness space and their unique financing model enables them to onboard salons easily while providing customers attractive offers. The team of LUZO has built a tech driven business model in the salon service sector. LUZO will prepay salons for services in exchange for bulk discounts and greater margins. A part of these margins are then passed on to customers as offers or discounts. They help customers discover salons around them, allows customers to book, reschedule or cancel appointments at salons and nail spas, they've build a loyalty program for Salons which inturn helps them to attract new customers, information for all available deals and offers at the listed salons is provided on their website and application.

Market Opportunity 

The Grooming & Personal Care market is thriving and one of the fastest growing consumer markets. The main reason for this strong growth is the generational shift with young consumers entering the market. At the same time, this change is reinforced by social media, internationality, and eCommerce, which have a lasting effect on splurging at a salon.Total grooming industry in India is worth $10 billion with a CAGR of 18%. The current addressable market is $4 Billion in India.

With rising disposable incomes in the hands of more and more Indians, the Salon culture has grown significantly. LUZO, with its innovative business model of partnership with Salons will help them scale and offer a unique value proposition to the users / end consumers.
