Bindia has been leading the CAN initiative since its inception in 2015 and is responsible for screening potential portfolio companies, negotiating deal terms, managing the diligence and investment process and evaluating portfolio companies' performance. CAN’s focus has been investment in early stage technology start-ups. Some of CANs investments include Instasafe, Anakage, Paytunes, Quagga Tech, Skillenza, Aisle and Adurcup. An angel investor herself, Bindia is a Qualified Accountant and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India since 1999. She has over 13 years of experience in audit, accounting and finance. Her last assignment was with Indian Angel Network where she was responsible for West India Operations. Prior to IAN, she has worked with organisations like EY, Oracle (erstwhile Peoplesoft) in Australia and Hughes Software Systems.
