Jay Gandhi is a partner at Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas. He represented domestic and international clients in relation to Investment Funds, Private Equity placements in listed & unlisted companies and cross-border Mergers & Acquisitions. Jay advised in commercial loan and structured finance transactions while acting for individual and consortia lenders. Involved in the setting up of several Mutual Funds, Private Equity Funds and Venture Capital Funds (both domestic and foreign) in India. He was also involved in the drafting of the fund documentation and representing Funds before Regulators in India for seeking appropriate registrations. He also advised clients in cross-border Joint Ventures and Mergers & Acquisitions, advising both foreign companies entering India and Indian companies in their overseas acquisitions.
